Komtel adopted a sustainable policy to develop a safe and healthy working environment for its staff applicable to the prevention of work-related accidents. Established under the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, this policy is intended to be adopted by all employees of this policy.
In this context, separate procedures and studies are undertaken for the environment and staff. In studies for the Environment, environmental risk factors are evaluated and risks are minimized. It is targeted to create safe, ergonomic and comfortable working environment. The studies related to Staff incorporates in a series of training with an orientation training provided for new employees. This training, starting with the Basic Safety Training is determined by the field staff to do the work. Specialist teams carry out these trainings and are renewed at certain intervals.
Training
The Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided for each employee in addition to the scope of these trainings. Although we take all possible measures to eliminate risks, personalized Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is delivered against the risks we cannot predict and any employee may encounter. In additional special trainings, sensitive points related to the job are demonstrated and the staff is expected to be more careful.
